Day Skipper Practical Course - Sep 03
Finally after much talking about, we sorted ourselves a practical course on our own boat for the end of September. We had met a guy at our marina called Chris Slade. Apart from being an excellent teacher and all round good laugh, he is also a Yachtmaster examiner and writes assessment papers and books for the RYA. We had a great 5 days with him and can thoroughly recommend his tuition services. Anyway, below are a few pictures we managed to take when we weren't absorbed in something more boaty.

The Quay at Lymington

Amazed at the number of yachts moored here.

We were rafted up on the quay for the night but moved here later in the morning

Nick and myself measuring something on the chart while Chris takes in some sights. This is Alum Bay and The Needles can be seen in the background

Alum Bay again. If you've seen those plastic tube ornaments with different colour sands in them then it may have come from here.
