Initial Viewing

Magler was offered for sale from Dover Marina and here are a few of the first pictures we took of her

The boat was called Magler when we bought her. We changed it to Calypso cos we thought that Magler was a combination of names like Maggie and Leroy or something (not very relevant anyway). However, I've now found out from the previous owner that Magler is a cornish word meaning someone who has up and down mood swings i.e. moody (the make of the boat). I've now changed it back again to Magler cos I quite like it! Seeing as the last time she was in the water she was Magler I don't think I need to do the three times anticlockwise round the hull chanting to a sea god or whatever it is you are supposed to do when you change a boats name. It's also the name the boat was launched with (Magler II actually) so I feel happier about it all now.
